Your donations help Al-Saleemia feed homeless communities across the GTA, Hamilton and the Niagara Region, and keep our educational and spiritual programs running. Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference.
How to donate by Interac e-Transfer
- Log in to your online banking app.
- Choose Send Interac e-Transfer.
- Send it to alsaleemia.canada@gmail.com
- In the message, add your name and what the donation is for (Food, Water or General). If you leave it blank, it goes to our General Fund.
Our e-Transfer is set to Autodeposit. You will see our official organization name, Al-Saleemia, listed on your banking app screen before confirming.
Please note: We are a non-profit organization, not a registered charity. Your contribution supports our community programs but is not eligible for an official charitable tax receipt for income tax purposes.
How to Direct Your Contribution: If you wish to fund a specific initiative, please specify one of the following keywords in your e-Transfer memo note:
- ‘Food’ – For our local food bank and homeless lunch distributions.
- ‘Water’ – For our clean water well projects in Karachi, Pakistan.
- ‘General’ – To support our youth Islamic classes, Zikr gatherings, annual Milad PBUH event, and community topic seminars.
Unless specified in your e-Transfer memo note, contributions will be directed to our General Fund to be used flexibly across our local and international operations where the need is most urgent.
